Falls can cause serious injury.  One in three seniors will experience a fall this year, and half of those, more than once.  The majority of senior adults who experience such falls do so because they have not practiced the balance skills we all mastered when we were toddlers.  The good news is, with our help, you can retrain your body to better maintain your balance.

We have developed a balance retraining program that is designed to decrease your risk of falling and to improve your general health and mobility.

This program includes…

  • Evaluation of your current level of flexibility, strength, and balance
  • Instruction on exercises you can safely perform at home
  • Progression of safe activities, done in our clinic, to challenge and improve your balance skills
  • Education on changes you can make to your home environment to reduce your risk of falling
