Rehab1Network provides rehabilitation for injured workers with the same aggressive approach we have with returning athletes to the game. Programs are based on the worker's job description, impairments, and the goals of the employer, physician and worker.Work Conditioning:
Work Fitness/LEAP: Simply stated, LEAP is a program designed to strengthen patients and get them back to work. ![]() Too often, return to work following a work-related injury is delayed or the worker comes back to work at a greater risk of re-injury due to deconditioning during their recovery period. Injured workers off work for several weeks suffer from diminished endurance, weight gain, loss of strength in their non-injured extremities, core and back muscles making them more susceptible to re-injury or new conditions. LEAP has been designed to identify and address these areas of concern. Our therapists may identify the injured workers who may be at risk for this type of problem and contact the physician, nurse case manager, claims adjuster and/or employer to make them aware of this possible risk. Then, under the physician’s orders, develop a program to better prepare this worker to return to the work environment safer.
