Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) Bio-Ergonomics Disability Management:
PDF Print E-mail
The BIO-ERGONOMICS Model of work evaluation emphasizes the use of medically-researched/peer-reviewed functional evaluation protocols to meet three fundamental objectives:
  • Accurately identify the level at which the candidate can perform work activities and the extent of the candidate’s physical impairment.
  • Assess the extent to which the perception of pain and disability may be controlling the candidate’s life circumstances and negatively affecting their participation in activities.
  • Accurately identify job hazards/exposures so the appropriate treatment pathway may be implemented preventing the onset of chronic pain, disability, and reoccurrence of injury.
